Ramanathan Venkakrishnan popularly known as Rama among his colleagues is a versatile trainer and consultant for his technical expertise on GeM and his teaching methodology. In his last role at Intellect Design Arena Ltd he was Training Director for GeM (Government e-Marketplace) for entire India from Nov 2017 to Mar 2019. Rama is the Co-founder of ARS Digital which turned operational in May 2019 and since then has been conducting classroom workshops and Online sessions on GeM and Public Procurement at the following organisations.

- National Academy of Human Resource Development

Rama has more than three decades of experience in the area of Training, Financial Accounting, IT and IT enabled Services. He has worked both in Government and Private Sector, including Apollo Tubes (Process Industry), Apple Finance Ltd (Financial Services), National Airports Authority of India (Government Sector), 3i Infotech(formerly ICICI Infotech Ltd), Intellect Design Arena Ltd (formerly Polaris Financial Services Ltd). His work, mainly with Intellect has taken him across the world, covering continents of Asia, North America and parts of Europe. Rama has been associated with GeM (Government e-Marketplace) in the following positions –
- iDigital Operations Director, coordinate for GeM Demo scheduled on 22-July-2017
- Operations Director for GeM Project from Sep 2017 to Nov 2017
- Launched LMS system in July 2018
- Managed “GeM Sahyog” team formed to manage the queries and issues raised by the users
